IBM and Meta have jointly unveiled the AI Alliance, a coalition comprising over 50 AI companies and research institutes dedicated to advancing an open AI model.

The primary objective of the alliance is to foster “open innovation and open science” within the realm of AI, emphasizing the principles of open source collaboration among major corporations, scientists, and independent developers.
