"CLICHÉS. It’s a list of clichés. And tropes.md is just formalising the advice: 'Avoid clichés.' This is age-old advice that’s been around for almost as long as writing.

"But AIs and LLMs write in clichés because they were trained on the internet, and the internet is 76% cliches.

"This is hard for non-professional writers to spot, because clichés feel normal."
